Contribution to landscape Aesthetic value This Quercus ilex is a dominant specimen located in a triangular bed at the corner of a busy intersection. There have been recent plantings of Plane Trees and Japanese Cherry Trees in this reserve and an old Irish Strawberry Tree is growing nearby. Outstanding size On the North East side of the bowling club The finer of two examples of the species in the Gardens, this tree is particularly large and has recently undergone maintenance works to highlight its structure.
